First Car Rental Announces Global Distribution Partnership With Travelport

Company Announcement - Over 60,000 travel agents and millions of travellers worldwide given real-time access to First Car Rental’s booking portal, vehicle rates and associated services. First Car Rental, one of South Africa’s leading car rental companies, has signed a new multi-year full content global distribution agreement with Travelport that gives Travelport-connected entities worldwide real-time access to First Car Rental’s booking portal, vehicle rates and associated services.
The partnership is effective immediately, with First Car Rental’s full content now live on Travelport’s Travel Commerce Platform, which has over 60,000 travel agent subscribers worldwide. Travelport operates one of the world’s largest travel commerce platforms with a presence in over 170 countries, providing distribution, technology, payment and other solutions to the US$8 trillion global travel and tourism industry. Entities that are connected to Travelport’s platform include travel agents, tour operators, airlines, hotels, car rental companies and businesses, to name a few.
