Project Description
The project will drill and connect more than 130 new production wells in the Fairview gasfield.
At peak production, the project will produce about 78 TJ/d, equivalent to about 25% of domestic demand in Queensland.
The project is expected to deliver significant benefits for the Maranoa and Banana regions.
Potential Job Creation
The project will provide ongoing employment for an estimated 160 drilling and construction contractors over the next two-and-a-half years.
Capital Expenditure
A$360-million.
Planned Start/End Date
First gas is expected in October 2022.
