Power utility, Eskom on Wednesday said their operating costs have continued to increase dramatically while output has remained largely unchanged despite efforts to curb expenditure.

Eskom said their Board of Directors had decided to review the company’s organisational design to enhance operational and cost efficiencies.

"Eskom’s Board has approved a Section 189 process for its executive structure and only members of the executive structure will be impacted," said Eskom.

The utility said it will share the updates with the relevant stakeholders when appropriate.
