Engen Lesotho, a leading supplier of refined petroleum products and convenience services, has contributed R100 000 towards the success of the Mountain Kingdom’s annual Morija Arts & Cultural Festival, which will run from 26 September through 06 October.

Engen Lesotho managing director, Theodore Motsarapane Molapo, says Engen, whose history in the country dates back to 1958, is a proud contributor to corporate social responsibility causes in Lesotho and throughout sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.

“Engen prides itself on doing sustainable business throughout our operations. We work hard to promote the health and safety as well as the educational, environmental and cultural well-being of the communities that we touch in the course of our business.”

Currently in its 15th year, the Morija Arts & Cultural Festival is set in the picturesque village of Morija, 45km south of the capital Maseru. Through its celebration of culture, arts, crafts and music, the 2013 festival will honour His Majesty King Letsie III as he celebrates his 50th Birthday.
