Ellies to narrow FY loss

Electronic products manufacturer Ellies expects to narrow its loss a share to between 38c and 47c for the financial year ended April 30.

The company posted a loss a share of 87.78c in the prior financial year.

The loss a share is made up of a 5c to 10c loss a share in the infrastructure segment, a 6c to 11c loss a share in the consumer segment and a 25c to 30c loss a share in the group segment.

Meanwhile, Ellies expects to report a headline loss a share of 5c to 11c for the full year, compared with the headline loss a share of 57.35% reported in the prior financial year.

The company's results will be published on July 28.
