Project Description
The project entails the construction of electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure. 

This includes the construction of 500 km of extra-high and high-voltage overhead and underground power lines, more than 1 000 km of medium- and low-voltage distribution networks and the connection of several thousand homes to the network.

Seven extra-high-voltage transformer stations will also be built, with the capacity of four existing high-voltage stations to be extended.

Potential Job Creation
About 900 jobs will be created.

Capital Expenditure
The contract is valued at €292-million.

Planned Start/End Date
The project will take three years to complete.
