Project Description
The El Merk central processing facility will serve as a production hub for the region, processing hydrocarbons initially from Block 208. The combined nominal capacity of the initially installed processing facilities will be 98 000 bbl/d of oil, 29 000 bbl/d condensate, and 31 000 bbl/d liquefied petroleum gas together with an natural gas liquid train, with a nominal capacity of 600-million standard cubic feet a day. The central processing facility will also include 500-million standard cubic feet of residue and reinjection gas compression and about 80 000 bbl/d of water treatment and reinjection facilities.
