Eco-friendly cleaning solution effective against Covid-19
Bio-enzymatic, probiotic cleaning products developed by Green Worx Cleaning Solutions
An innovative new cleaning technology has been developed to help in the fight against Covid-19. The product is said to be effective, environment-friendly and long-lasting.
Unlike chemical-based products, which have been found to lose effectiveness once a surface has dried, the probiotic-based products are said to extend the time of effective protection from virus contamination, remaining effective for three to seven days after application.
The cleaning products have been developed by Green Worx Cleaning Solutions after conducting extensive research into the formulation of eco-friendly, effective cleaning solutions. The company explains that tests were done using international testing standards and evidence showed that the presence of bacillus strains produce the enzyme protease, which breaks down the cell wall of the Covid-19 virus. The enzyme lipase is also present and breaks down lipids, or fats and oils. As a result, these bio-enzymatic products play an integral part in breaking down and destroying harmful molecules and pathogens.
“Utilising this technology we have created Bio Tech GTX Cleaning and Sanitizing products. Test results have indicated that these products were 99.9% effective in the ‘Anti-Corona Virus Effect’ and ‘Anti-Bacterial Effect’,” states Green Worx Cleaning Solutions CEO John J Coetzee.
Further comparative studies were conducted between bio-enzymatic, probiotic cleaning products and petrochemical cleaning products, in both controlled laboratory and real-world settings. Findings concluded that bio-enzymatic, probiotic cleaning products scored a higher percentage of efficiency, ranging from 18% to 79.9% for a period lasting 168 hours, or 7 days.
The company asserts that its bio-enzymatic products are a healthier alternative to chemical solutions, are safe for people, animals and the environment, and are gentle on sensitive skin.
