Madelein Huxtable is a powerhouse of energy! Her passion and professionalism are second to none.

With decades of experience in industrial sectors project management and personnel development, Madelein is very well respected by her peers and colleagues alike.

Beginning her career as an HR Section Head (yes, that was the start), Madelein looked after at least 800 staff members’ training and development journeys, as well as remuneration and personal interactions – relationship management. With a keen interest in peoples’ developmental journeys, she compiled and developed multiple SETA Accredited training programmes.

Not quite challenged enough, Madelein moved to ABI to manage Industrial Relations, staff counselling, all induction programmes, conducting psychological predictive assessments and establishing core teams, advising on Union interactions and supervising the clinic, while sitting on the steering Committee for Health and Safety.

Needing a change of scenery, Madelein joined the ADvTECH Group as HR Manager: Group Customer Services. In this role, she was responsible for providing financial reports for the Board of Directors, Divisional EXCO reports, setting up of VIP HR Modules, job coding and grading, group workplace skills plans, company policies and special projects.

Still hungry for the opportunity to impact more lives, she took on the roles of Project Manager, Account Executive AND Divisional Human Resources Manager, concurrently. Bear in mind, she is also a mother! Projects included developing content for SETA accredited content for learners in 7 out of 9 provinces; project costing, risk management, and ensuring scopes of work were delivered at top quality, on time.

Several years later, Madelein yearned to be back in the industrial sector, that’s where her passion lies. She joined EON Consulting, contracted to Eskom Enterprise Development IT Division’s Project Office, as Programme and Project Manager. She managed IT and Infrastructure projects at Medupi and Kusile from conception to execution, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, and ensuring compliance to PMBOK Knowledge areas, and Eskom’s governance systems.

When that project came to an end, a contractor for Cooks Mines enlisted her to manage 25 projects for their SHE Strategy development, HR Systems strategies, Supply Chain Excellence, Financial Management, and Operations divisions.

After a 5-year stint managing projects for the Gauteng Technical Manufacturing Initiative, Madelein joined Rifle-Shot Performance Holdings (Pty) Ltd. (RSPH). “We are proud and extremely grateful to have Madelein on our team.  Our clients regularly compliment Madelein’s exemplary quality of work, as well as her ability to bring out the best in the teams she works with.” - Dilley Naidoo, Director, RSPH.

Madelein is currently managing projects at Glencore (Electronic Work Permits for safety enhancement) and Mafube Coal (Minimizing Downtime) with skill and passion. Don’t let her slight frame fool you, her passion is explosive! Dynamite comes in small packages and really works when you need things done.
