Project Description
The project entails the development of a new production complex at the Dorogobuzh industrial site.
The new facility will have production units for sulphuric acid, wet-process phosphoric acid, monoammonium phosphate and diammonium phosphate, as well as complex nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium (NPK) fertilisers, including blends with different additives. The new facility will be able to process 600 000 t/y of concentrate, with an estimated output of 500 000 t/y to one-million tonnes a year, depending on the product.
Dorogobuzh’s existing ammonia unit will be upgraded to provide the additional ammonia required for the new facility. The ammonia unit’s capacity will be increased from 1 743 t/d to 2 100 t/d.

Latest Developments
Novgorodskiy GIAP has awarded SNC-Lavalin a contract to develop engineering design packages and licensing services for the project. The scope of the contract includes the provision of pilot tests and engineering services, the development and delivery of basic engineering packages, and working documentation for the construction of fertiliser facilities, which include production plants for sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, and granulated NPK at the Dorogobuzh site. SNC-Lavalin will also assist with the procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up phases of the project.
