PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Copper miner Discovery Metals Limited (DML) has reported record monthly production at its Boseto copper mine, in Botswana, during July.

During the month, the Boseto mine produced 2 061 t of copper, up 15.2% on the monthly average during the fourth quarter of 2014.

CEO Bob Fulker pointed out on Thursday that the July production followed on from the best operating quarter to date, in which 5 367 t of copper in concentrate was delivered during the June quarter.

“It is great to see the culmination of many months of improvement at the Boseto mine reflected in our results,” Fulker added.
