Project Description
The Derba Midroc cement plant is located about 70 km north-west of Addis Ababa.

The main objective of the project is to support the local cement supply market by means of better cement plant distribution across the country, and to support the supply of cement required for the construction of the Derba Midroc main cement plant project. The plant has a production capacity of 2.5-million tons a year and contains a vertical shaft kiln that employs a semidry process.
