TRUCONNECT remote monitoring collects condition, alert or fault, usage and operating data from crane control systems and sensors on an asset. Remote monitoring data is then aggregated at yourKONECRANES.com along with inspection and maintenance data, aimed at providing a comprehensive view and analysis of equipment condition, maintenance and operation.

Collected data varies depending on an asset’s make and model but typically covers condition and expected service life of critical components, running time, lifted loads, motor starts, work cycles and emergency stops. Additional TRUCONNECT options allow certain assets to be equipped with hoisting brake and or inverter monitoring. The remote monitoring system notifies the user of brake service life, hoist overloads, emergency-stops and over-temperature occurrences through text or email alerts, allowing for a prompt response.

Remote connection is available as a standard option on new Konecranes equipment and can also be installed as a retrofit to existing cranes, even to equipment not made by Konecranes.
