Rox Resources Limited is pleased to announce that a new ground electro-magnetic (EM) survey has commenced at its Fisher East nickel sulphide discovery, which forms part of the Mt Fisher project, located 450km north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Reverse circulation (RC) drilling by Rox in December 2012 intersected semi-massive and disseminated nickel sulphide mineralisation in all five holes drilled at the Camelwood prospect, covering a strike length of 300m (Figure 2) and up to 200m vertical depth (Figure 3). The system remains open in all directions.

Assays released on 14 January 2013 confirmed the earlier portable XRF analyses and identified Camelwood as a significant new nickel sulphide discovery. Rox Managing Director, Mr Ian Mulholland said “We are applying a disciplined and systematic approach to define these nickel sulphide targets and identify new conductors on our tenements. We are highly encouraged by the results from Camelwood, and believe Fisher East has the potential to host a very large mineralised system.” The new ground EM survey is using a fixed loop configuration to map out the prospective nickel-sulphide bearing horizon along 8km of strike, including the Corktree and MFA_01 VTEM anomalies, which lie along strike from Camelwood, before further drilling commences in mid February.
