Cazaly Resources Limited  (0.34 MB)

Cazaly Resources Limited  has now completed its first pass drilling at the Mt Angelo Porphyry located 2.5km to the south west of the Mt Angelo North copper deposit and has all assays returned. A total of 5 reverse circulation holes for 862 metres were drilled within the quartz porphyry intrusive. Previous RC and Diamond core drilling returned intercepts up to 117m @ 0.32% Cu and 150m @ 0.30% Cu. The porphyry system is large with extensive intercepts of disseminated and occasional semi-massive sulphides and it appears that the entire intrusive is mineralised. The higher grade intercepts of mineralisation included 23m @ 1.00% Cu and 7m @ 1.26% Cu, indicating potential for the delineation of higher grade zones in the system.

The Company will continue to evaluate the porphyry system and is also awaiting results from the diamond core drilling recently conducted at the nearby Mt Angelo North copper deposit, located ~2.5km to the northeast, where massive copper sulphides were drilled as expected. The Halls Creek Copper Project, located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia is subject to an agreement with 3D Resources Limited (ASX: DDD, “3D”) whereby Cazaly may earn up to a 75% interest in the Project. Joint Managing Director Nathan McMahon said, “We are greatly encouraged about the large, lower grade intercepts returned from drilling over a large extent of the Mount Angelo Porphyry. Whilst it is too early to determine if the system can host economic resources, the potential does exist for a large, low grade copper deposit.”
