A series of commercial-grade high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) cables suitable for video transfer, commercial electronics, audio/video installers, video system design and gaming venues, has recently been introduced.

The cables are offered in eight different configurations that meet HDMI 2.0 standards, provide 18 Gbps bandwidth and 4K performance at 60 Hz. They have CL3-rated jackets for in-wall installations and contain ferrite cores at each end for high frequency noise reduction in the signal. The cables are particularly suited for transferring video and audio signals in environments that might be susceptible to high frequency noise.

The cables are supplied by connectivity solutions company ShowMe Cables, part of the Infinite Electronics group.  The company offers a number of options for customising orders according to specific requirements and has a large inventory of cables in stock that are available for same-day shipping.

Features of the cables include:

  • Supports resolutions up to 4K ultra HD 2 160p at 60 Hz
  • 24K hardened gold contacts
  • Three layer high density shielding for quality protection
  • Twisted pair construction
  • The addition of an HDMI ethernet channel allows networking capabilities, combining audio, video and data all on one cable
  • An audio return channel is included to allow the sending of audio data upstream from the TV to a surround sound audio system or A/V receiver, eliminating the need for a separate S/PDIF connection.
  • eARC is supported for the latest audio formats, including DTS Master, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Atmos
  • 3D support
  • In-wall rated
  • Black colour
  • Three feet in length
  • 28 AWG wires
  • 2 ferrite cores
  • Bare copper conductors
