CNG Holdings is a privately owned energy company operating in Southern Africa, specialising in providing environmentally-friendly energy solutions. Established in June 2008, we are dedicated to offering compressed natural gas (CNG) as an alternative fuel for industrial applications, power generation, and fleet owners. CNG is a clean, safe, and versatile form of energy, making it an ideal substitute for traditional fuels such as coal, diesel, and petrol.

Our vision is to be the market leader in supplying environment-friendly energy solutions, utilising advanced technologies and equipment to serve the market. We aim to deliver sustainable value to our stakeholders through customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement of our supply resources. Our mission is to deliver sustainable value to our stakeholders as the market leader in environment-friendly gas-distributed energy solutions by providing customer service excellence through our passionate and skilled employees, operational excellence and continuous improvement of our supply resources and utilising best-in-class technology and quality systems.

CNG Holdings operates through our subsidiaries Virtual Gas Network and NGV Gas, facilitating the transportation, supply, and distribution of CNG across Southern Africa. Our innovative tube trailers and bespoke daughter station designs ensure efficient and secure delivery of CNG to end-users. Additionally, NGV Gas specialises in fitting CNG kits to existing vehicles and designing CNG filling stations, further promoting the use of natural gas as an alternative fuel.

We collaborate with various partners, including local and national government agencies and the Industrial Development Corporation, to establish projects promoting the use of CNG in vehicle operations. Our commitment to safety, quality, and environmental awareness is reflected in our values and practices, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for our employees, customers, and visitors.
