Project Description
The project comprises efficiency improvement projects at Cimko’s plants in Narli and Adiyaman, including a waste heat recovery system at Adiyaman and at the existing ready mix concrete plants; the establishment of three new ready-mix concrete plants, in the Mediterranean region of Turkey; and the construction of a railway system for the transportation of clinker from the Narli plant.
At the Narli plant, the precalciner will be modified to allow for firing with petroleum coke and domestic lignite; the fans in the coal milling system will be replaced; a grate cooler waste heat recovery system for electricity production will be installed; the transportation of cement from the mills to the silos will be converted from a pneumatic to a mechanical operation; and a railway connection will be built to the factory.
At the Adiyaman plant a roll press mill will be installed, existing electric motors will be replaced with high-efficiency motors and a waste heat recovery system will be built.
