Chicago Pneumatic is passionately powering a drive to expand its presence and brand awareness across Southern Africa. A key platform which has proven to greatly assist the company to achieve these goals is the Mining & Technical Exhibition (MTE), at which the high-performance tools and equipment specialist keenly hosts a stand and gives away a new CPPG5.5 Kva portable generator.

Hot on the heels of a highly successful Phalaborwa MTE, Chicago Pneumatic proudly demonstrated its generator excellence across the border at the three Botswana MTEs hosted in Letlhakane, Palapye and Jwaneng on 08, 10, 12 April 2019 respectively.

“Chicago Pneumatic is focussed on adding value to customers in the form of prime quality, reliable, efficient machines and equipment that enable customers to complete their tasks with peace of mind in the knowledge that they are operating productively at lowest total cost of ownership,” notes Eben van der Vyver, Chicago Pneumatic Business Development Manager - Southern Africa.

“Longstanding and potential customers have the opportunity to view first-hand the impressive capabilities of our advanced petrol-driven generators and to interact with our highly-skilled employees at our MTE stands. We were thrilled to have Columbus Magede from our official distributor, Utility Power Botswana, joining me at our Botswana exhibitions.”

Belgian-manufactured with superior-quality components, the compact CPPG generator range includes 2.3Kva to 14Kva models that are available in silenced units, petrol and diesel machines as well as in an open frame variant. Comprising a tough main frame that includes additional reinforcement around sensitive components, a protected electrical panel and sockets that are covered and recessed, this robust generator is protection-centric.

According to Van der Vyver, the innovative petrol-only CPPG generators are designed and developed to deliver a stable electrical output and safe, user-friendly operation over an extended service lifespan enabling customers to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.

Equipped with large, reinforced fuel tanks, ergonomic handles and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation), these versatile generators are the perfect fit for private and professional customers that require a portable generator in the construction, demolition and rental sectors.

Emphasising Chicago Pneumatics dedication to performance excellence, Van der Vyver points out that “Our CPPG generators are tested for 1000 hours at (full) 100% load nonstop prior to the release of a batch of units. This in itself gives customers confidence in the product.”

The Letlhakane and Palapye, Botswana MTEs saw the bright red and black Chicago Pneumatic stand host a flowing stream of visitors who were interested in seeing the renowned generator up-close.

When the highly anticipated time arrived, Van der Vyver was joined by Magede to hand over the coveted prize to the Letlhakane winner- Gabitse Moji from Debswana and the Palapye winner- Jacobath Jacob from BPC. “These exhibitions were highly productive and exciting with excellent visitor turn outs,” says Van der Vyver.

Wrapping up the Botswana MTEs, the Jwaneng show welcomed enthusiastic attendees who flocked to the Chicago Pneumatic exhibit to gain a better understanding of the company’s product and service portfolio.

As the company’s representative for the day, Katlego Ntsie of Chicago Pneumatic Electrical Compressor and Magede presented the generator to excited winner Benny Mabue from Debswana ending the day on a high-note with the company expertly displaying its vast competencies.

“Chicago Pneumatic is proud to be part of the MTEs that enable us to engage with potential customers face-to-face. We have received positive and encouraging feedback from our Botswana MTEs and we look forward to providing customers with our exceptional product and service offerings that assist us to be their preferred tools and equipment partner,” concludes Van der Vyver.
