The upgrade involves:

• demolishing and removing the existing asbestos office building;

• constructing new offices, male and female ablution facilities, waste and sewer reticulation, as well as a new guard house and heavy-duty parking area;

• constructing a 450-seat hall and a medical centre;

• refurbishing and realigning of existing storerooms and washing bays;

• realigning the entrance; and

• upgrading electrical capacity.

The project broke ground on August 26, 2019, and is expected to take 24 months to complete.
