Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 2 800 t/d cement production line to be installed at Cemex’s new Cementera del Magdalena Medio cement plant, in the department of Antioquia, about 135 km from the capital of Antioquia, Medellin.
The line will use the latest production technologies and achieve high environmental and quality standards.
The pyroprocessing line will consist of mill for raw grinding, a coal mill, a five-stage in-line calciner preheater with a low nitrogen oxide calciner, a cooler, and a two-pier kiln. Weighing and dosing systems, gear reducers, gas analysers and process filters are also included.
