Project Description
The project involves the development of a new cement production plant at Wimbe, in Malawi’s central district of Kasungu, where it also has a limestone mine.

The plant is designed to produce 1 200 t/d of cement. Malawi will save $50-million a year that is currently used to import limestone when the new plant starts production.
