Celanese Corporation, a global technology and specialty materials company and a global leader in vinyl acetate ethylene emulsions, invites attendees of the 2014 Spring Adhesives Sealants Convention to learn more about its broad portfolio for industrial adhesives and building products. The company will be showcasing the Flexbond® series of emulsions for specialty packaging applications, Vinac® emulsions for woodworking adhesives, Ateva® EVA copolymers for hot melt adhesives and flexible packaging applications, and the TufCOR® line of emulsions for the construction industry.

“Celanese has decades of experience in industrial adhesives and building products and has been a strong supporter of the ASI council for many years,” said Elise Cruel, Celanese marketing manager. “The ASC conventions are a good venue for our sales, marketing and technical personnel to meet with our customers and discuss opportunities to assist them in meeting their commercial and technical goals with our high-performance products and industry expertise.”

Showcasing new solutions for industrial adhesives
Celanese is showcasing its Flexbond series of low Tg emulsions for use in adhesives for specialty packaging applications requiring lamination, high-moisture packaging, adhesion promotion, as well as applications requiring pressure sensitive adhesion properties. Also on display will be Vinac® emulsions for DIY (do-it-yourself) and commercial woodworking applications which feature excellent viscosity stability and the ability to meet U.S. and European water resistance standards when properly formulated.

Ateva® EVA copolymers, with up to 40 percent vinyl acetate, will also be displayed. Ateva® EVA copolymers are widely used in the formulation of hot melt adhesives for packaging, labeling, case and carton closing, lamination and book binding applications. Celanese low gel and low organoleptic Ateva® EVA copolymers provide excellent sealing properties, improved optical properties and excellent adhesion for multi-layer food packaging, personal care films, decorative label films and more.

Solutions for construction products on display
Also on display at ASC will also be the Celanese TufCOR® high performance emulsions which build strength, durability and dependability into the core of building products, including caulks, sealants, tape joint compound, flooring adhesives, cement admix and more.
Celanese to deliver closing keynote address

In addition to exhibiting, Celanese’s Marty Sweeney, CDT, LEED-AP, market development manager, will be the closing keynote speaker. All conference attendees are invited to the presentation entitled: Health Product Declarations: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Celanese sales, product marketing and technical specialists will also be available throughout the exhibition to answer any questions regarding its offerings. Visit Celanese during exhibition hours at Booth 116.
