The project involves the construction of a new 150 MW onshore wind facility.
The wind farm will comprise sixty 2.5 MW wind turbines. The turbines will be mounted on 88.6 m towers and will consist of 62.2 m blades.
Potential Job Creation
Construction activities are expected to peak at 200 workers on site.
Capital Expenditure
The project is anticipated to cost between $236-million to $246-million.
Planned Start/End Date
Site mobilisation was scheduled for May 2019. Commercial operation of the facility is expected in March 2020.
Latest Developments
Black & Veatch has been selected to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project.
