Over two thousand people were fortunate enough to experience a most informative and relevant expo this year — from 31 October to 02 November, the Cape Town International Convention Centre hosted the Cape Construction Expo through which everything relating to construction was showcased.

Leaders in the field of construction presented various workshops in the hall of the CTICC, issuing vital information about the latest technological advances and trends in the industry. It was not only commercial contractors who made up the attendance architects, residential property owners and project managers also benefited from the expo.

However, one of the highlights of the expo came from a stand just across the work shop area from which lights and sounds were emitted and resonated throughout the hall an electrical distribution company, Voltex, whose presence at this expo was of necessary importance because its displayed products are key to any construction project.

“What made Voltex stand out, besides our customer-interactive energy efficient stand, was the fact that it was the only electrical distribution company at the expo,” explains Shawn Roets from Voltex, Western Cape.

“The Elepod and the Sirenco Blaster really caught the attention of the attendees,” says Roets, explaining that the blast from the Sirenco Blaster, “turned heads in intrigue”.
