Project Description
The Brickelle CityCentre is a 502 000 m² mixed-use development area that will be built in downtown Miami.

Phase 1 will comprise a luxury shopping centre of more than 46 000 m², two residential towers with 820 apartment units, a 263-room hotel with 89 serviced apartments, a 11 148 m² wellness centre and an office building.

In Phase 2, two office towers will be built, with more than 79 896 m² of prime space ideally located in the epicentre of South Florida’s international trade and finance corridor. The development will have numerous green building features, pioneering underground parking solutions and a site-integrated Metromover light rail station.

$1.05-billion.

Duration
Phase 1 is scheduled for handover in the third quarter of 2015. Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in 2018.

Latest Developments
Americaribe, a subsidiary of Bouygues Construction, and John Moriarty & Associates have been awarded a contract of about $520-million to build the first phase of the mixed-use development.

Meanwhile, in June, Swire Properties reached an agreement with Swire Hotels to make EAST the hotel flagship at the Brickell CityCentre development.

This will be the EAST brand’s first US hotel and Swire Hotels’ first North American venture.
