P&O Ports has won a 30-year concession for the management and development of a multipurpose port project.

The project will entail the construction of a 450 m quay and 5 ha backup area, dredging to a depth of 12 m with reclamation work using dredge soil. 

There will also be a major investment in an information technology and terminal operating system, mobile harbour cranes and container handling equipment.
