Village Main Reef is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Octavia Matshidiso Matloa as an independent non-executive director to its Board of Directors with effect from 9 September 2013. Ms Matloa (CA(SA)), the founder of Matloa and Associate, now Tsidkenu Chartered Accountants Inc. is a highly respected businesswoman, with considerable experience. She is currently an audit committee member of the National Treasury, as well as the Department of Defence and Military Veterans. Mr Bernard Swanepoel, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: "It is with delight that I welcome Ms Matloa to the Board of Directors of Village Main Reef. Her experience in the financial arena will enhance the skills set of the board to the benefit of the company and stakeholders alike. We look forward to working with her as we continue our journey of making this Company a self-sustaining, socially responsible mining entity."
