PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Bligh Resources has terminated its employment contract with MD and CEO Jerome Vitale.

Without giving a reason for its decision, Bligh told shareholders on Tuesday that the company would conduct an executive search for a suitable replacement for Vitale, who was expected to cease his employment on December 4.

Vitale will remain a director of Bligh until the company’s annual general meeting at the end of November, at which point a resolution will be considered for the election of Vitale as a director of the company.

Vitale was appointed as a nonexecutive director and MD and CEO-elect in July of this year, following a A$1.7-million capital raise to fund exploration in Western Australia.
