Project Description
BKM has total proved and probable ore reserves of 51.5-million tonnes at 0.6% copper for 303 000 t of contained copper and 0.39% total soluble copper for 206 000 t of contained soluble copper.

Total measured, indicated and inferred resources are estimated at 69.6-million tonnes grading 0.6% copper for 451 900 t of contained copper.

A detailed and comprehensive feasibility study on developing the BKM copper deposit using openpit mining and solvent extraction-electrowinning (SX-EW) copper heap-leach processing has been completed.

The feasibility study envisages the production 25 000 t/y copper cathode over a nine-year mine life.
