Project Description
The Bibiani gold mine is located in western Ghana, 250 km north-west of Accra.
The project is estimated to host a proved and probable reserve of around 12-million tons, grading at 2.05 g/t gold, for a contained 790 000 oz of gold, and will have a mine-life of around ten years.
The project is expected to reach a capacity of three-million tons a year.
Value
Noble Mineral Resources has raised A$10-million for the final commissioning of the gold processing plant.
Duration
The processing plant is scheduled to be commissioned in March 2012, with production ramping up to 150 000 oz/y by the end of 2012.
Latest Developments
Noble Mineral Resources has raised A$10-million through a share placement of 21-million shares to fund the final commissioning of the Bibiani gold processing plant.
Some of the funds will also be used to fund the satellite pits in close proximity to the processing plant, as well as the continued drilling to identify satellite resources.

On Budget and on Time?
The commissioning of the project has been delayed following unforeseen delays resulting from hold-ups in the fabrication of key components in South Africa and the subsequent importation of these components into Ghana. Noble
Mineral Resources has also indicated that customs clearance at the wharf, in Ghana, has also contributed significantly to the commissioning delay.
