BCIMA, The Building and Construction Industry Medical Aid Fund is the preferred medical scheme created specifically for our industry.

Thousands of South-African building, construction and civil engineering industry workers enjoy the security and benefits that this affordable medical aid fund offers its members and their families.

Without a medical scheme, access to healthcare and medicine is limited.

When a construction worker needs medical care, it not only negatively affects him but also affects his family's income and the operations of his employer.

The BCIMA medical fund has four columns in place to cement the needs of our members, registered dependents and their employers. These benefits include:
1. Nation-wide Hospitalization provides access to private healthcare, including ambulance services, private nursing care and step-down facilities.
2. Registered chronic medication is covered without co-payments.
3. Day-to-day benefits like doctor's visits, acute medicine, dentists, optometrists and even registered traditional healers are covered.
4. Members have access to a full HIV disease management program...handled confidentially and discretely.
5. Cover is fully comprehensive by providing for HIV related infections.

This makes the BCIMA benefit structure strong.

BCIMA is also flexible because:

" Contributions are based on hourly rates,
" Our members have one membership number for life,
" And the fund also covers contract workers.

Member contributions are per family and ensure cover for any number of registered dependents and offer the freedom of choice to make use of any healthcare provider.

BCIMA members have peace of mind in knowing that they can provide for their families and continue their work with restored health and wellness.

CREDIBILITY

BCIMA puts their members first. We have been servicing the needs of employees and employers in the building, construction and civil industry since 1964.

The fund is registered with the Council of Medical Schemes and is financially healthy.

It's administered by an award-winning administrator.
Employers appreciate the support of BCIMA because it ensures a healthy and productive workforce.

BCIMA also makes medical related administration simple and easy.
Members become part of our success through our association with various partners and service providers.
