BBF Safety Group Recognises the Bright Stars

On 9 November 2017, BBF Safety Group hosted customers in Johannesburg for its annual year-end celebration.

On the evening, themed “The Future is Bright”, the BBF Safety Group leadership team set the agenda for a 2018 characterised by growth, diversification and a bullish outlook on the workplace safety market.

BBF Safety Group also recognised and rewarded its top achieving customers through an awards ceremony. Awards were presented in four categories, honouring the distributors that performed at the top of their game in 2017. 

Major Award
This award was presented to the distributor that achieved the highest combined turnover on BBF Safety Group brands within a calendar year, across all regions.

2017 winner: Select PPE

Lieutenant Award
The Lieutenant Award was presented to the distributor who achieved the highest combined turnover on BBF brands in a calendar year, within a respective region. The regions are: Inland North, Inland East, Inland Central, Inland West, KwaZulu Natal, Western Cape and Eastern Cape.

• 2017 winner – KwaZulu Natal: FTS Safety Group
• 2017 winner – Eastern Cape: Vanguard Fire and Safety
• 2017 winner – Western Cape: Pienaar Bros. South
• 2017 winner – Inland North: Pienaar Bros. North
• 2017 winner – Inland East: Cattel’s Industrial Footwear
• 2017 winner – Inland Central: Halsted and Co.
• 2017 winner – Inland West: Moostart

Brand Captain Award
The Brand Captain Award was presented to the distributors who achieved the highest volume sales for an individual brand within a calendar year, amongst all regions. The brands are: Bova, Frams, Lemaitre, Sisi and Wayne.

• 2017 winner – Lemaitre: Cattell’s Industrial Footwear

CSD Consultant of the Year
This award was presented to a member of the BBF Safety Group Customer Service Department (CSD) who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding customer service, as rated by both customers and staff.
