Project Description
The project involves the construction of a greenfield (WtE) facility in the municipality of Barueri, in São Paulo.

The facility will have a processing capacity of 825 t/d, enough to process the waste of the municipality’s 270 000 inhabitants and additional waste from surrounding municipalities.

With an installed capacity of 19 MW and a continuous power generation capacity of 17.3 MW, the WtE plant is forecast to produce about 117 GWh for the export grid.

Value
The total cost of the project is estimated at Br$320-million.

Duration
The facility is expected to take three years to build.
