Project Description
Snowy Hydro proposes to build and operate an estimated 320 MW gas-fired power station in the Bannaby area of New South Wales. The peak power station will operate only during periods of high demand.
The project will include a connecting gas pipeline that will supply the power station with natural gas.
It will also include a short electricity transmission line that will transfer the power from the power station to the network at TransGrid’s Bannaby substation.
