The project entails the construction of a 244 MW wind farm, comprising 46 5.3 MW turbines.
It is projected to generate enough clean energy to power more than 100 000 households, and will prevent the emission of more than 600 000 t/y of carbon dioxide.
Potential Job Creation
The construction phase will create up to 120 regional jobs and, once complete, the wind farm will deliver five full-time jobs.
Capital Expenditure
The project is estimated at A$500-million.
Planned Start/End Date
The construction of the project will start shortly, with commissioning by 2021.
