Project Description
The project involves the construction of Phase II of the Bangalore Metro rail project.

The project involves the development of the east–west corridor (Reach 1) extension from Byappanahalli to Whitefield through International Tech Park, connecting with the eastern part of the city. It consists of 16 km of viaduct, 13 new elevated stations and a new intermodal transit hub at Baiyappanhalli.

The project includes the construction of a 6.3 km elevated viaduct in the extension of the north–south corridor (Reach 4A) from Puttenahalli Cross to Anjanapura Township, including five elevated stations. When the transport system is complete, it will be capable of carrying 1.5-million passengers a day and reduce journey times across the city.
