Masdar and Iberdrola.

Masdar achieved financial close on its 49% shareholding in the Baltic Eagle wind farm in April 2024.

Project Description
The project entails the construction of a 476 MW wind farm comprising 50 wind turbines of 9.53 MW each, and producing 1.9 TWh/y of energy.

This is enough to meet the needs of  475 000 homes and avoid the emission of  800 000 t/y of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Construction started in 2022, with the wind farm scheduled to come into operation by the end of 2024.
