The project is fully owned by Baglar WPP, a subsidiary of Akuo Energy.

Project Description
The Baglar project consists of the development, construction and operation of a 77.5 MW greenfield wind power plant near Konya, in Turkey.

The wind farm will comprise 24 wind turbines of the type 3.2-103 m at 85 m HH, which will generate enough electricity to provide an estimated 80 600 households with green energy, while avoiding the emission of 95 914 t/y of carbon dioxide.

Value
The cost of the project is estimated at $130-million.

Duration
Construction of the project is expected to start in the second half of 2015 and commercial operations are expected to begin by the end of 2017.
