Project Description
The Baffin wind farm is the third wind farm in the Peñascal complex following the commissioning of Peñascal I (202 MW) and Peñascal II (202 MW) in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
The Baffin wind farm will also have a 202 MW capacity.
The facility will be equipped with 101 Gamesa wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2 MW.
The new wind farm will bring the capacity of the Peñascal wind power complex to 606 MW.

$400-million.
Duration
Construction on the wind farm started in 2013, with grid connection expected by the end of 2014.
