JSE-listed real estate investment trust Attacq has appointed Michael Clampett asset and property management executive.

The appointment forms part of Attacq’s strong belief in grooming talent from within the business by providing employees with growth opportunities.

Clampett in 2014 joined Atterbury as the asset manager responsible for the Attacq-owned retail assets. In July 2015, he joined Attacq assuming the role of asset and property management head for retail.

During his tenure, he managed a regional and super-regional retail assets portfolio and ensured the group’s assets offered sustainable community spaces for all its stakeholders.

Clampett was appointed to his new executive role on June 1.
