The project involves the modernisation of an existing water treatment plant to treat 360 000 m3/d of wastewater.
A new section of the plant to treat another 260 000 m3/d will also be built, of which 20 000 m3 will use a membrane system.

The contract is valued at €83.9-million.

Work is expected to be completed in 24 months.
