Astral Foods to report lower full-year earnings

JSE-listed Astral Foods expects its earnings per share (EPS) and headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the year ended September 30 to decrease by between 50% and 60% year-on-year

EPS are expected to be between R14.77 and R18.46, compared with the EPS of R36.91 reported for the 2018 financial year.

HEPS are expected to be between R14.85 and R18.56, compared with the HEPS of R37.12 reported for the prior financial year.

The company will publish its results on November 18.
