Exploration company Askari Metals has sold its Callawa project, north-east of Marble Bar in the east Pilbara for A$125 000.

Muncanabout will acquire the project, comprising E34/5842 and E45/6053, for an initial cash payment of A$55 000 and a further cash payment of A$70 000.

Selling the Western Australian project aligns with Askari’s focus on uranium and lithium exploration in Tanzania and Namibia.

“The company continues to evaluate other opportunities to monetise its Australia-based exploration projects portfolio, which will provide long-term capital savings to the company and enhance operational transparency. In line with this, the company has also implemented a number of cash preservation initiatives,” said MD Gino D’Anna.
