App simplifies employee onboarding
The process of inducting and orientating employees, also called onboarding, can be time consuming for a business. Undertaking the process manually may also led to errors such as incorrect payroll information, onboarding timing problems, equipment delays, delayed or incorrect systems access and delayed facilities access.
The Autopilot Workflow Solutions application (app) is designed to streamline the onboarding process and helps reduce the amount of time it takes while also ensuring that inaccuracies and errors are avoided. The system can also be used to facilitate employee off-boarding, or disengaging, processes to ensure that critical access and systems permissions are systematically and timeously removed.
The app integrates with Microsoft Teams which helps organisations to manage global employee onboarding procedures. It can be used to replace manual or document- and data-approval processes with seamless, automated solutions that capture validated information, ensure compliance, mitigate risks, meet audit standards, and implement reliable, consistent procedures.
Integration with Microsoft Teams allows users to create tasks and assignments, automate sequences and access reporting data quickly and cost-effectively. Additional business processes that can be automated include leave and paid time-off applications, expense claims, purchase order requisitions, and information technology support requests.
Developer and co-founder Adam Shapiro says that Autopilot streamlines business processes, helping companies reduce exposure to operational and financial risk while increasing the efficiency and productivity of a workforce.
