Colas Rail, a subsidiary of Colas, has been awarded the contract for the construction of the entire rail network. Eighty per cent of the line will be planted using a system developed by Colas Rail to reduce the use of concrete and watering requirements.
The total contract value amounts to €42-million and work will begin at the end of 2018 for delivery in mid-2021.
