Project Owner/s
Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company comprising global clean energy company Masdar, and consortium partners GD Power and Korea Electric Power Corporation.

Project Description
The project is set to be one of the world's biggest solar installations. It will be developed on a build, own and operate basis, with a 25-year power purchase agreement signed with the Saudi Power Procurement Company in 2024.

$1.1-billion.

Planned Start/End Date
The project reached financial close in August 2025. The plant is expected to reach full capacity in early 2027, with commercial operation targeted for the same year.
