The Akoplant will be built on the site of a golf course in Ako-gun, Hyogo Prefecture, in Japan.

Project Description
The project involves the construction of a 102.14 MW dc solar power plant.

Once commissioned, the plant will generate about 125-million kilowatt hours of electricity a year, contributing to a reduction of about five tons a year of carbon dioxide emissions.
