Continental plans to build production facilities at its tyre plant, in Lousado, to produce the company’s branded premium agricultural tyres.
The company intends to bring a complete tyre portfolio for agricultural tractors and harvesting machines to the market, working together with major vehicle manufacturers. The range will include radial and cross-ply tyres in 150 sizes.

€49.90-million.
The R&D centre will cost an additional €2.50-million.
Duration
The start of production is planned for 2017.
