Afrimat moves to general mining on JSE

Building materials and mining group Afrimat’s sector classification on the JSE has been reclassified to depict its business operations more accurately.

Its classification on the JSE has changed from the ‘basic materials construction and materials’ sector, to the ‘general mining’ sector.

The group supplies a broad range of products, ranging from construction materials such as aggregates, bricks, blocks, pavers and readymix concrete to industrial minerals, such as lime and and bulk commodities, including iron-ore, anthracite and manganese.
